We are pleased to communicate that Alfonso Marcos, an associate in BMAJ’s Conflict Resolution practice area, has reached the final in a dispute resolution competition. The event marks the end of the Remote Oral Advocacy Program (ROAP) led by the prestigious independent arbitration institution specialized in international arbitration, Delos Dispute Resolution.
It is an advanced oral advocacy training program in international arbitration in which theoretical and practical skills are honed, and which culminates in live final hearings featuring the most skillful and persuasive participants of each course.
About the experience, Alfonso commented: “A particularly important learning point for me from participating in the course, was the opportunity to learn different oral advocacy styles from my peers, all of whom came from different countries and cultures.”
