BMAJ advises Alef Biotechnology in its sale to Canadian company Tilray 2018-10-05 · Lexlatin.com
Partner Rony Zimerman advised the acquired company in a CAD$ 5m transaction.

Tilray, a Canada based, NASDAQ-listed leader in cannabis research and production, acquired Alef Biotechnology, a Chilean importer, distributor and producer working in the same field. Tilray commented that “the acquisition will allow Tilray to import, produce and distribute Tilray branded medical cannabis products in Chile and to create a hub to distribute Tilray products throughout Latin America.”
